Cuttlefish

Wow, what is that!? The light show on the back of this creature that you’re seeing is real! The Cuttlefish uses hypnosis to paralyze its pray!

Cool facts:

• Cuttlefish are in the same family as octopuses and squid called Cephalopod (so technically they aren’t fish)

• They have amazing camouflage mechanism’s and are regarded as ‘the most intelligent invertebrate’ or the ‘chameleon of the sea’ – they can change the texture of their skin too!

• They have W shaped pupil’s and can begin seeing before they hatch out of the egg, and 3 hearts
